book meme

These are the top 106 books most often marked as "unread" by LibraryThing's users (as of today). As usual, bold what you have read, italicise what you started but couldn't finish, and strike through what you couldn't stand. The numbers after each one are the number of LT users who used the tag of that book.

(Megan's note--I've put a star for any that Chris and I do have in our library, but I haven't read yet.)

Wow, I won't be doing this meme...I've only read seven -- seven of these. That's kind of embarrassing ;) And most of the seven were Jane Austen. I've tried two others, and those were also Jane Austen.

I read 39 of these and started 8 (Joyce among them). The Grapes of Wrath I even started several times, but it never fails to put me to sleep...
