Writer at work

If anyone who doubts that there's a lot more to this job of being an author than just writing... I managed to fill up my day (around the day job) with writing-related activities that involved no actual novel writing:

-Coming up with answers for my publisher's author questionnaire and looking up stuff online in order to answer the more complicated of those questions.

-Planning promotional stuff with other members of the Class of 2k9.

-Attempting to book a cottage for my writers group's 2009 retreat (these things never go as simply as you hope).

-Buying and writing notes in holiday cards for my agent and editor.

And, of course, writing this blog post. ;)
