  • Mood:

Chris and I went out to dinner tonight (seafood--yum!) to celebrate. And we had many things to celebrate. Chris got some good news this morning that he is not allowing me to share, and I got my editorial letter for GIVING UP THE GHOST from my awesome editor!

Suddenly the idea that, yes, my book is actually going to appear in stores and libraries for people other than my critique partners to read is so much more real. And exciting!

There is work to follow, but it is good work. I can't wait to see how much stronger the book will be when I'm done. :D

(The 'What Makes You Pick A Book Up' post should appear here next week, in case anyone was looking for it. I got a little distracted by the arrival of said letter.)
