we all knew this day was coming

You know those parts toward the end of the book where everything is coming to a head and going to hell and it's all your main character can do just to get through it...?

Yeah. I am so there. As is the entire last quarter of this book, apparently. I love those parts more than anything, but man, they wring me out.

They're usually action packed and/or emotionally charged enough to wear a writer thin, huh?

Oh yes. :) But I guess if you're putting that much emotion in, you have the hope that readers will get it back out!
