me 2011

(no subject)

Finished The Other Boleyn Girl and immediately had a craving to learn more about the actual history. Conveniently, I had sitting around a book my dad picked up for me a few years ago, but I hadn't read yet: Six Wives: The Queens of Henry VIII. Reading about Catherine of Aragon right now--very interesting, lots of setting details and explanation of the relationships, with enough of a narrative that I'm quite engaged (I need narrative in my non-fiction--fiction has spoiled me).

It's also giving me little hints of ideas that may work their way into my next project.

What are your favourite non-fiction books? Any history books you'd recommend?
