Dream in colour

Yesterday: 1250 words.
Today: 1600 words.

Not great. I was pretty tired after work yesterday, and then stayed up too late anyway (making pretty icons. heh), leaving me tired again today. Blah. But at least I figured out, while at work today, that I was missing a chapter in between the one I'd just finished and the one I'd just started, and everything seems to flow much more smoothly now. There's a vet appointment, a thesis to consider, and a play to see tomorrow, but I intend to get a good chunk of writing done in between.

Got the rejection from Scifiction. Off to F&SF it'll go tomorrow. Maybe they'll like it. It says in the guidelines they want more science fiction.

A girl can always dream. :)

Does anyone know any good icon sharing LJ communities? My visual creativity seems to be at a high. I want to make an Amano series. And there's no point in making one if no one's going to be able to use them.

Weird. Tomorrow I'm meeting up with a friend I haven't seen since high school (we've been e-mailing very sporadically). And today I brought one of the kids I work with over to his best friend's house, and found out that the best friend's mom is the aunt of one of my best childhood friends, who moved away when I was eight or nine; I haven't seen him since then. A lot of past sneaking into the present. *starts singing* It's a small world after all...

And my lack of sleep is really catching up with me, so I will end here.
