Woes of an international writer

I love my country. I do. But there are occasions when I wish I lived on the other side of the border.

Like when I'm glaring into my mailbox wondering why the heck my ARCs that were mailed a week ago are taking so darn long to get here.

I suspect customs officers are getting to view them before I do. :P

Oh no! Thankfully I've rarely had anything get truly damaged or lost in the mail.

I'm not sure what method my editor used to send the ARCs... Might have been USPS, actually, though usually it's been UPS. Whenever I've gotten stuff (revision notes, copyedits) in the past they always got here in a few days, but maybe this is a bigger package and those take longer.
