The seventh song on Give Up the Ghost‘s unofficial soundtrack is another R.E.M. song, “Country Feedback”:

Like last week’s song, this is one of the few where the lyrics don’t necessarily fit the book. I’m a very lyrics-focused music fan, so those are normally what first grab me about a song and make me associate it with a story.

In this case, it’s a song I’ve liked for a long time, and the mood is what seemed to fit GHOST. There’s a sense of desperation and longing and frustration and loss, emotions I think Cass and Tim and some of the supporting characters are facing with throughout the story.
