The most glorious feeling...

...is coming home and realizing I don't have to do anything else related to school for the rest of the day.

*huge sigh of relief*

Have just passed 80 pages/20,000 words on the Signi rewrite. Not quite as far as I'd hoped to be, but getting there. Let's see if I can't make the halfway point by Halloween. :)

Also must highly recommend Rebecca. First book I've really loved in a while. (Well, maybe not that long, the last was probably If on a winter's night a traveler, but that was a different sort of book.) I love her style--it's very clear and simple but poetic at the same time, lots of subtle but striking imagery, and the suspense creeping along underneath. *envy* Go read it if you haven't already.
