*long deep sigh of relief*

Just finished the second-to-last draft of the first Signi book. Which I am becoming more and more sure is going to be titled Into The Wild. Unless I come up with something particularly brilliant in the next two months.

Now to wait for the comments to come in, and rest a little while, and then find something else to work on while the novel settles. I'm thinking maybe the early chapter book idea. I doubt it'll be any less hard than writing a YA novel, since I've never written for kids that young before, but at least it'll be less huge. I need something I can look at all at once without feeling totally overwhelmed--for a bit, at least. ;)

I'd also like to thank tianxia for recommending Babatunde Olatunji to me. I'm listening to his Drums of Passion: The Invocation right now, and it's amazingly beautiful and reverent.

Hmmm....I don't really see Into the Wild really fitting the first book. ((note, you can ignore me if you please :)))

I think I'd see more...Unfocused gaze or something dealing with Seeing Signi. Then again, I dont' know what the other books are like so...
