Attack of the Pre-Submission Paranoias

First three chapters are edited and polished and edited again. I cannot tell you how many times I have rewritten that damn opening line. The plan is to shape up the query letter tomorrow and send off three packages to my three most-wanted.

Gah. I'm terrified.

It seems really really stupid to the practical part of my brain, but the emotional part is spazzing over whether the book is actually good enough and what if it isn't and what if no one even reads past that damn opening line. Urgh. Then I will write another and another until one is good enough. But Signi is my baby, and I want people to love it.

I'm sure this is normal, but that doesn't make it much more fun.
