631 words. A start. This one goes slow because I have no outline--I have to feel it out as I go along. I have to be in it to know where it should go. Oh, I know bits and pieces of plot and characters, but the scene-by-scene stuff, for now, is touch and go.

Ever tried to write a story from the point of view of an alien, in an alien world? This is sort of like that, except both easier and harder at the same time. I don't know where it's going, but I'm sure it's nowhere I've been before.
