Well, at least this time I've been productively busy. :D

Three projects underway simultaneously. Short story which I should have finished by Saturday (in time to hand it around to the writers group), some sort of spec fic, but a different format than usual. Children's non-fiction book idea which I'm going to try to spin some articles out of before I make up a proposal. And an idea for a series of short teaching-through-fiction/workbook type thingies illustrated with photographs, which I will probably end up producing on my own if I end up going through with it.

So, three weeks ago I start reducing a medication, and voila, creativity up the wazoo! I'm no pharmacologist, but I think I'm sensing a connection here.

It's exhilarating and a little exhausting. I feel like my mind's a house that's been left to collect dust, and the muse has just burst in, bustling here and there, "no, no, put that over there", "that's better, now try from this angle", "my goodness, has nothing been done around here while I was gone?" My job right now is just to focus on one thing at a time, so some of this reaches completion.

My dear, it's been a long time! Yes, I've been a very bad friend on that count and I apologize. :/ Did you get my Christmas card??

Glad to hear the writing's coming along well, are you published yet?

It's good you've lowered the dosage of medication. I've been off a few months now and things have been okay. Although I never had fluctuations in creativity while I was on meds - that doesn't sound good. :( But anyway, you're getting back on track which is great. Again I apologize for not having emailed or written sooner, I feel very bad... :( *hugs*
